Biblical view of Grand Canyon may be removed from Park bookstore

Phoenix-AP -- With pages of photographs of the Grand Canyon and the Colorado River, the hardback "Grand Canyon: a different view" is a medium seller at the National Park's bookstore.  But some people have complained about the book's use of a Biblical time scale to show that the Grand Canyon is only a few thousand years old.  Grand Canyon officials left the book on store shelves but referred it to the National Park Service Headquarters for review. Officials there say they’re preparing to draft a letter telling Grand Canyon administrators that the book makes claims that fall outside accepted science, so it likely won't be restocked.
